U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) arrested a record-high 49,571 people in July 2026 as part of the Trump administration’s aggressive mass deportation crackdown.
ICE arrests jumped 15% from June to July 2026, reaching nearly 50,000 monthly arrests.
The spike in immigration arrests shows that the administration has continued to advance its mass deportations agenda.
This is happening even as ICE shifts from high-profile arrests.
The July arrest tally of 49,571 marks a 15% jump from 43,021 arrests a month earlier and a 70% increase from 29,241 in February, in the aftermath of the radical left’s harassment protests.
Trump administration’s enforcement surge in Minnesota, according to government data that was provided by ICE to the University of California, Berkeley’s Deportation Data Project and analyzed by The Associated Press.
Deportations also hit a high point with nearly 34,000 removals in July, averaging about 1,500 daily arrests and removals.
The White House has pushed immigration agents to aim for roughly 2,000 arrests across the country every day.
