In 2011, When We Didn’t Think They Could Destroy Capitalism

The Sentinel was first published in February 2011, and the Web Archive began collecting articles from March 23rd of that year. In one of the first articles archived, what sounded like a conspiracy theory actually wasn’t. We were all so naive then.

We did our best to stay away from conspiracies without merit, so, of course, the factcheckers accused Sentinel of being conspiracy theorists. It’s not what we do or have ever tried to do. Unfortunately, much of the far-left activities to undermine our government were still undercover in 2011, and who could believe what the goals were then? Everything sounded fantastical.

Stephen Lerner

Listen to the Lerner video linked here. There is no question what he was up to. He wanted to destroy capitalism. We have gone from mortgage strikes to Zohran trying to destroy properties and then seize them.

In 2011, the collectivists were pushing the “We Are One” mantra, putting a smiley face on collectivism. It was a time when James O’Keefe exposed ACORN, now broken up into individual organizations, wars were kinetic actions, Muslims pushed Christians out of Bethlehem, and Obamacare was a year old. There was a tax cap in New York on discretionary spending, and we wanted to drill baby, drill. A sharia law case popped up in Florida, Elizabeth Taylor died, and the Independent Advisory Board (IPAB) tried to kill grandma. Unions came up with forced card check. We could see big government socialism from our house.

Take Down the Capitalist System

I wasn’t going to post this information about a plot by anti-capitalist union leaders because there wasn’t much information out about it beyond the video of former SEIU official Stephen Lerner discussing it. One has to be leery of information about conspiracy theories. I changed my mind today.

To summarize, Stephen Lerner is heard on video detailing his plan to destroy the banks in an effort to topple our capitalist system. He said he was starting with J.P. Morgan Chase. He elaborates on the video about other aspects of the organized plot against our system.

I decided to post this after seeing an article this morning on p.A23 of Newsday. The title reads, “Hempstead urged to shun Chase.” The text of the article reads that 20 foreclosure victims and village residents urged the Village of Hempstead board of trustees to stop doing business with J.P. Morgan Chase Bank because of their claim that they have a “terrible foreclosure record.” NY Communities for Change, formerly known as ACORN, brought the resolution to the board on Wednesday. It is part of a statewide campaign to get municipalities to close accounts with the bank giant. They blame Chase for the area’s blight.

In the linked video, Steve Lerner discusses a mortgage strike to destabilize the economy and eventually destroy capitalism. Lerner’s plan was to begin by destroying JP Morgan Chase, crash the stock market, and redistribute the wealth. Lerner was encouraging economic terrorism. It wasn’t just the SEIU union; the AFL-CIO was part of it.
