Here is the news you’ve all been waiting for: former New Jersey governor Chris Christie, a man with a checkered past, is once again considering running for president in 2028. He ran in 2016 and is still holding grievances against Donald Trump for winning.

Christie is continually on left-wing news shows complaining about President Trump. He claims he’s a conservative while acting like a RINO; his goal would be to move people away from America First and back into the party of RINOism. He hasn’t officially announced, but he addressed the idea recently. His supporters say his experience gives him an advantage; he was a governor from 2010 to 2018. However, he was very unpopular when he left, mostly over Bridgegate and Beachgate.

When Mitt Romney was running for president, he wouldn’t meet with him, and instead met with Obama, hugging him for the photogs. Christie was running as a Republican, but this is what RINOs do. Romney was a RINO too, and the herd has thinned out since then. However, RINOs hope to bring them back.

Christie was a US attorney in New Jersey and built up a reputation for prosecuting corruption cases. That seems to be where his skills ended. He plans to run on issues such as fiscal responsibility, public safety, and Government Accountability, and he will continue to criticize Trump. He also thinks he can capitalize on his experience, alleged competence, and a return to traditional republican leadership, aka RINOism.

He will call himself a conservative, but he truly is not, and his opposition to Trump could work against him. We have years to go, and hopefully he’ll fade into the woodwork by then. In the meantime, he’s going to try to build support among Republicans. We don’t see it happening since there are more appealing RINOs than him, who aren’t appealing anyway.

In his last effort to become President, Christie barely tripped the odometer, winning 2% of the vote.
