John Thune says they “don’t have the votes” to pass the SAVE America Act. Yet, some say they have 50 votes to pass the Act with a Talking Filibuster. President Trump has tied FISA and 702 to the passage of the SAVE Act. If it isn’t possible to pass it, let’s find out who is against it. JD Vance has the same thought.
“One of the things that sometimes frustrates me about the legislative process is that people will go into it saying, ‘This isn’t possible, therefore we’re not even going to try.’ Well, let’s actually see. Let’s try it. And if it’s not possible, then let the people put their name on it,” Vance said.
Let’s not continue accepting, “it’s impossible,” and find out if it is impossible and who is making it so. Americans need to know who is fighting to stop non-citizens from voting. We deserve that.
