Lied on His Immigration Form, Tied to Terrorism, Not a Citizen & He’s Still Here

Salah Sarsour, a Muslim Brotherhood agitator, lied on his immigration form and has suspected ties to terrorists. Despite this, a judge ordered this threat back on the streets, and CNN approves.

A federal judge ordered immigration officials to release the president of Wisconsin’s largest mosque from detention, finding that Salah Sarsour has raised a “substantial” claim that he was being targeted for speaking out in favor of Palestinian rights.

Homeland Security says he is being targeted because of his lies and ties, not because he spoke up for the fake Palestine cause.

Thanks to this court order, this public safety threat is now loose on our streets.  There is no First Amendment right to lie on immigration forms. Any accusation of discrimination by ICE agents is untrue.

Salah Sarsour is suspected of funding terrorist organizations and was convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at the homes of Israeli armed forces. This noncitizen lied on his green card application to fraudulently gain legal status in the U.S. under the Clinton Administration.

Sarsour, a Palestinian-born legal permanent resident of the United States, was taken into custody by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents on March 30. The government has claimed he is a foreign policy threat, but Sarsour’s attorneys say he was actually targeted for speaking out against Israel.

US District Judge James Patrick Hanlon, a Trump appointee, wrote in a decision Thursday that attorneys for ICE and the Department of Homeland Security did not provide enough evidence to refute Sarsour’s claims of retaliation for free speech, nor did they explain why Sarsour was suddenly considered a threat now after more than three decades of legal residency in the United States.

He’s not even a citizen, and DHS can’t get rid of him because a local judge said so. CNN published an article favorable of Sarsour.

According to Amy Mek, Salah Sarsour is a notorious Muslim Brotherhood-linked operative. He serves as president of Wisconsin’s largest mosque (the Islamic Society of Milwaukee) and sits on the national board of controversial American Muslims for Palestine (AMP).

On March 30, 2026, ICE agents detained him. Federal authorities pointed to his long record of terror ties, including serving 8 months in an Israeli prison in 1995 after being convicted of throwing Molotov cocktails at Israeli forces.

Sarsour has a close friendship with a Hamas military commander while locked up.

He was named in FBI memos connected to the Holy Land Foundation. That was America’s largest terrorism financing case.

There are allegations that his Milwaukee business was used to move money for Hamas-linked figures. Less than three months later, on June 18, 2026, a federal judge ordered him released.

He is now back in Milwaukee while his deportation case drags on.

The Muslim Brotherhood has spent decades building networks inside mosques, nonprofits, universities, and the U.S. government. (Let’s not forget the well-paid “think tanks” wielding massive power over our government). When one of their key operatives gets detained, the machine kicks in – legal teams, pressure from high places, etc., who suddenly find reasons to release them, Amy Mek of the RAIR Foundation says.
