Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar is worried that noncitizens won’t be able to vote. Aguilar said that “they are trying to exclude certain portions of voters from actually participating.” In other words, Republicans are trying to exclude noncitizens.
Nevada has 270,000 noncitizens on the voter rolls.
Aguilar is trying to make it about Republicans.
“We have a federal government who clearly does not understand how elections work and just wants to tear it down because what they’re trying to do is exclude a certain portion of voters from actually participating.
“Look, they haven’t delivered for the American people. They haven’t delivered for Americans. You look at the cost of gas. You look at the cost of running a business, and those are significant. They are failing these voters every single day, and they are not going to follow them any longer. They want to change. They want to see people lead. They’re tired of the chaos, and so when the federal government can interfere in these elections, is making these threats?
“I guess agents at the polls, non-citizens on the voter rolls, seizing ballot machines, seizing ballots-all that is something we know we have to prepare for.”
Are people falling for this line from Aguilar?
