Newsom Defends Democracy by Suing for Random Mail-In Ballots

The Supreme Court didn’t decide if Trump’s directives on mail-in balloting would be lawful, leaving it open to lawsuits.

Into the crevice steps Gavin Newsom. The Governor who banned photo ID and allows ballot counting to take weeks is again fighting for democracy by suing Trump, claiming it’s an Orwellian attack on voting to not want random mailing of ballots.

Actually, what is Orwellian is not allowing photo ID and taking weeks to count votes when no one else does.

Because SCOTUS did not decide whether Trump’s directives ultimately would be found lawful, it left the door open for additional lawsuits, and right out of the gate, California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) was the first to do so.

Newsom called out “Trump’s latest attack on voting,” and announced he would introduce new legislation to “defend democracy.”

As he fights to defend democracy, he supports the socialist/communist wing.

Gavin lies to support the radicals to “defend democracy.”

Democrats like vote by mail because it can be easily corrupted. If everyone votes by mail, and we have no in-person elections, that’s Orwellian. Mail-in voting is only supposed to be used for special circumstances.
