President Trump is determined to put parents back in charge of their children’s education, not the teachers’ unions, not the D.C. elite, but parents.
Trump and Education Secretary Linda McMahon hosted an event highlighting the administration’s education efforts, focusing on school choice.
“Under the Trump administration,” President Trump said, “we’re systematically ending every single one of these radical left betrayals, and we’re putting the parents back in charge. They’re the ones that love our children. They’re the ones that should be in charge. That is so obvious, and we have seen what happens when some of our educational leaders have too much power.

The administration spoke about progress on school choice, empowering the states, ending radical gender ideology, eliminating divisive indoctrination, and supporting every child.
President Trump’s agenda is clear and proven: educational freedom belongs to parents, excellence belongs in the classroom, and America’s children deserve schools free from ideology, waste, and federal overreach. As students return to class this fall, they do so under an Administration that has delivered historic results in record time, reports the White House.
A homeschool family joined the event and thanked the president: “to see your administration and all that you’ve done for homeschooling families not only means the world to me, but also to all the other homeschooling families that are out there…. So I just want to thank you for everything that you’ve done,” the father said.
