Nicolle Wallace revealed during a podcast interview that she refused to air Donald Trump’s White House press briefings live during his first term because watching them “hurt” her.
Speaking on a podcast, Wallace explained that listening to briefings—particularly when Sarah Huckabee Sanders served as press secretary—was painful because she felt they were full of constant falsehoods.
Wallace noted that rather than providing an unfiltered platform that might spread unverified claims or spin, her show (Deadline White House) opted not to carry those live broadcasts.
Nicolle Wallace won’t air his briefings live, giving them a chance to fact-check them. Since MSNow is the biggest purveyor of misinformation, that should go well. MSNow decides who is lying and who is not, who Americans are allowed to hear or not.
