Today, on the anniversary of the slaughter of over 1200 innocent young Jewish people, including children, babies, and the elderly, Zohran Mamdani called Israel genocidal and apartheid. Aside from his words being cruel to those who lost loved ones, he’s lying.
Zohran’s statement:
This day is profoundly painful for so many New Yorkers. It marks three years since the horrific war crimes of October 7. On that day, Hamas killed more than 1,100 Israelis and abducted 251 others. We grieve alongside our many friends and neighbors who still carry that unthinkable loss.
The suffering did not begin nor end that day. It instead continued through the Israeli government’s devastating, ongoing genocide in Gaza, in which it has killed more than 74,000 Palestinians—including more than 21,000 children. Even since the so-called ceasefire, more than 1,400 Palestinians have been killed. That suffering has intensified with every Israeli bomb dropped on ambulances waiting outside hospitals, every drone strike targeting a residential building or journalist, and every shipment of food aid turned away at a border crossing. Many New Yorkers are reckoning with this unbearable grief, and we mourn alongside them – all while knowing that our tax dollars fund these war crimes.
Three years later, we must refuse to accept a world in which occupation and apartheid continue, where war crimes are met with impunity, and our federal government continues its complicity with every arms shipment.
To honor the dead, we must fight for a world in which every person can live with freedom, safety, and dignity.
I unfortunately saw one of the clips from October 7 three years ago that isn’t widely shared. A young woman was strapped down, surrounded by hideous men who were slowly cutting off her breasts. These people are savages. I realize they were raised this way, but no one has to follow such a destiny.
Emphasis mine.
Zohran Mamdani is showing his true colors; he is a radical Islamist communist who is trying to gradually force his opinions on Americans and change our way of life. This wasn’t even subtle. He’s actively trying to turn people against Jewish people.
There is no evidence of a genocide. The 74,000 people who died in Gaza mostly include terrorists who were the only targets. Additionally, the numbers come from Hamas, and they are totally untrustworthy.
Every time Israel is about to strike, they drop flyers warning people, and they send off alarms. Hamas often puts their own helpless people in harm’s way between them and the bombs. Often the victims go along with it.
Israel is not an apartheid nation. There is no institutionalized racism and segregation. When they are attacked, they block off the terrorists who attacked them. They were attacked by Gazans they employed, who they thought were friends.
I’m not trying to dismiss other opinions, but the truth is the left is trying to divide us over this. They want to convince everyone that the Jewish people are committing genocide so that MAGA is broken up. They want the right to hate Jews as much as the left hates Jews.
We have to stick together, and we can’t agree on everything. Islamic terrorism and communism are existential threats. I have lived through the sixties, and this is different and far more powerful.
