CBS News, citing a criminal complaint, reported that 18-year-old Sheikhdoon Abdullahi Mohamud posted a video online pledging allegiance to the Islamic State terrorist group in September. His parents are from Somalia, and he is first-generation.
Mohamud allegedly wanted to attack the Mall of America in Bloomington, Minnesota, on Oct. 24, during a Hmong Arts Celebration. He chose that mall because it is owned by Jews.
He planned a mass-casualty event involving 30 to 60 people, including Chinese, Vietnamese, and other non-Muslims attending that event.
Mohamud was conspiring with undercover agents and tried to purchase an AK47 and 200 rounds of ammunition.
His parents and all his relatives need to be deported.
