Paxton and Talarico Are in a Dead Heat: Paxton Needs to Up His Game?

Ken Paxton needs to start campaigning with more fervor, and fast. If Paxton doesn’t up his game, a victory, if there is one, could be a Pyrrhic victory. He could even lose. The polling, if you can believe it, shows the two candidates in a dead heat.

An Emerson College Polling/Nexstar Media survey found Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton (R) polling at 47 percent support and state Rep. James Talarico (D) polling at 46 percent among likely Texas voters. And this is with Talarico looking like he’s borderline insane.

Paxton is an adulterer, and his staff turned him in for alleged corruption. He was not convicted. So, there’s that. Some Texans are reluctant to vote for him to begin with; they don’t like him, and his campaign isn’t going well. The Paxton ground game, donors, fundraising, and sentiments are not good enough.

If Texans topple him, they will win on one level but lose big in the Senate. Talarico is far left.

The NRSC can’t save Paxton. They are fighting to keep seats in Ohio, Maine, Iowa, and elsewhere while on offense in Michigan and losing Georgia and North Carolina. Whatley’s a disaster as a candidate. He topped out as RNC co-chair.

This panel isn’t always right, and I don’t know if their analysis is correct here, but it is interesting. They are very hard on him in this analysis because they fear he is losing and not working hard enough.

Watch:

James Talarico is weird, but his campaign is doing well in Texas.
The latest news is that Talarico thinks the Bible is propaganda and indoctrination.
The Bible is scripture and the word of God for Christians, but not for so-called Christian pastor Talarico.
Talarico is campaigning from and for the radical far left, pretending he is moderate.

Paxton called Talarico a socialist democrat, which he is.

Paxton wins a lot.
