Red State Mississippi just appointed America’s first Yemeni hijab-wearing judge. Amy Mek reports that this “immigration” attorney built her career guiding illegal entrants and visa overstayers onto citizenship paths without ever needing a green card.
Assma A. Ali extracted an “Arab American Heritage Month” proclamation from Republican Governor Tate Reeves. She publicly defended the Jew-hating, Saddam-glorifying, Muslim Brotherhood-linked Amer Ghalib. He was the mayor of Hamtramck, Michigan, from 2022 to 2026.
The leftist Islamist Ali allegedly cheered radical DSA Islamic operative Zohran Mamdani. Ali built her entire career fighting deportations and keeping foreign nationals in the country, Mek says.

Amer Ghalib
President Trump credited socially conservative Amer Ghalib with getting him inroads to the Arab community. The group was called Arab Americans for Trump. Trump tried to get him appointed as ambassador to Kuwait, but Republicans objected.
This group might not be there for Republicans in November.
“It’s hard for me to try and convince the community to vote again Republican in 2026 and 2028 with this kind of an atmosphere,” said Bishara Bahbah, who chaired Arab Americans for Trump.
It seems that after Trump selected Ghalib for the diplomatic post, the reception on Capitol Hill was markedly colder.
“Your long-standing views are directly contrary to the views and positions of President Trump and to the position of the United States,” Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas, said at a hearing last year. “I for one, I’m not going to be able to support your confirmation.”
Cruz was joined by senators from both parties in questioning Ghalib about past comments and social media activity, including some that were labeled as antisemitic. Asked about “liking” a Facebook comment comparing Jewish people to monkeys, Ghalib said he had a “bad habit” of acknowledging nearly every response on his posts but stressed that he disagreed with the statement.

The city council is dominated by Islamic supremacists and people who want to bring America to her knees!
After October 7, they renamed a main street “Palestine Avenue” to celebrate the massacre.
Ghalib has publicly endorsed language calling Jews “monkeys” and accused Arab leaders of being secret Jews.
The town operates with a parallel Islamic political culture that prioritizes ummah loyalty over American assimilation.
This is not “diversity.”
My feeling is they are here to stay, and we should make every effort to welcome the good ones and keep them from falling into the hands of the radicals because they have no place else to go. However, Ali and Ghalib are probably not the ones I’d root for.
