Russia keeps tooling around the English Channel to taunt the incompetent Keir Starmer. The Brits need a better Prime Minister.
A Russian warship fired warning shots at a British-registered pleasure yacht in the English Channel. The incident, which occurred in international waters approximately 20 miles south of the Isle of Wight, involved the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich and caused no injuries or damage on Tuesday morning.
The Russian ship is routinely shadowed by the Royal Navy while passing through the Channel. They claimed the yacht was traveling in a “dangerous course” and failed to respond to flares and sound signals.
The incident involved the Russian frigate Admiral Grigorovich, which fired shots approximately 500 yards from the yacht, around 20 nautical miles south of the Isle of Wight.
The yacht took off.
No injuries or damage were reported, and the shots were fired outside UK territorial waters.
The Royal Navy’s HMS Mersey was shadowing the Russian frigate. And the HMS Tyne sent a seaboat to gather details from the yacht’s crew. This event follows a recent operation where Royal Marine commandos boarded a sanctioned Russian tanker in the Channel, highlighting rising tensions between the UK and Russia.
Russia isn’t afraid of Britain.
