People’s fears of China unilaterally taking over the seas aren’t what they think. They can’t operate independently, or the surrounding areas will band together against them. It’s what happened to Russia.
No one operates independently of their surrounding nations. China can’t get merchant ships out if they work alone. Merchant ships can’t go up against warships.
China’s geography requires it to make deals with its maritime neighbors.
She said that is what’s happening now with Prime Minister Carney and Europe.
