Tom Homan plans to put more effort into the Northern border in the next two years. In an interview airing on Sept. 26, Homan told Epoch Times senior editor Jan Jekielek that the U.S.–Canada border is a national security vulnerability and could receive greater attention after the administration beefed up security on the border with Mexico.
“The next two years, I’m really concentrating on the northern border,” he said. “The southern border is the highest security we’ve ever had.”
In another interview with Epoch Times, Homan said they arrest about 64% of hardened criminal aliens, and the others come in illegally. Many of those other 36%, especially the youth, are gang members who haven’t been caught yet.
He has found about 157,000 children of nearly half a million released into the United States. Most were just in hiding with their parents, but too many were sex- and labor-trafficked. They have about 140,000 more to find.
Illegal immigration is not a victimless crime. Cartels are in charge. About a third of women and children traveling to the border are sexually assaulted. Those are the ones who admit it.
Homan said that there have been over 1600 attacks on ICE agents and over 6,000 threats. Vehicle threats are way up, and he blames the misinformation. ICE does not go into schools and churches or arrest five-year-olds. It’s all lies. Lies by Congresspeople, the media, and others. The food is fine; no one is on a hunger strike or going without food. Homan mentioned several recent lies.
Homan is only enforcing laws Congress passed. He mentioned AOC’s Internet training to resist ICE that has led to tragedies. The hateful rhetoric and gross hyperbole cause the violence.
Many of the illegal alien killers and rapists were arrested but released in sanctuary cities (Democrat cities).
He talked about the heartbreaking story of Laken Riley, who fought hard for 17 minutes. She wanted to live. Tom Homan had to hold back tears as he spoke about the victims, the angel moms, and Laken Riley.
Voting for Donald Trump and Republicans has nothing to do with a personality cult. That is a lie. It’s about voting for an agenda.
Abolish ICE??? If we want to fix the system, we have to follow the law. Don’t come illegally. It is dangerous to come illegally.
Why would anyone vote for people who opened our borders and endangered innocent Americans for politcal advantages?
