Assistant fire chief, no doubt a woke hall monitor type. Should have his butt stomped.

The far western tip of NC is polluted with Leftists. Fire Chief may well be representative of this insanity, instantly suspicious of someone who demonstrated conscience and morality.

Let them arrest him then see how popular he will become and that Fire Chief will be run out. They serve us.

The private rescuer should call the Sheriff’s Office to run volunteer rescue missions. Private citizens are deputized all the time.

That SOB Fire Chief is an opportunist and a coward. He needs to be STRIPPED of his title and FIRED, never to work in fire/rescue or law enforcement again. Show the MFKer’s face so that he can be shamed for the reset of his sorry life! SOB is HELLBOUND and down!

That was nuts! How awful for that man and the husband to have to be separated from his wife. The pilot needs an official apology and the fire chief needs to be relieved of his position.
