Ramsey County Sheriff Bob Fletcher worries that the fair will be victimized by Somali gangs.
“I’ve been here for many, many years, but we’ve never had threats of violence like we’re having from the Somali gangs. We will have Karen gangs [Burma], we’ll have some Hmong [resettled immigrants] gangs here, we’ll have some extremists on the right here, but none of them are promising chaos except for the Somali gangs.
This is what goes on in Europe. They can’t engage in cultural events. The radical Islamists attend, get violent, create chaos, and even rape women. We have imported the problem, or a problem that could be as bad.
Minnesota is sending strongly worded letters to Somali gangs asking them not to fight at the Minnesota State Fair.

Certain gang members have been prohibited from attending.
State and local prosecutors have secured injunctions to keep seven gang members from entering the Minnesota State Fair, and prohibit three others from engaging in gang-related activity, such as associating with each other, flashing gang signs or intimidating others. “It’s our hope that this action will make the fair safer,” reports the Star Tribune.
“It’s our hope that this action will make the fair safer,” Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison said at a news conference Thursday. “We’re simply not going to allow violent activity to endanger fairgoers.”
Does Ellison mean it?
In separate civil lawsuits earlier this month, the Ramsey County Attorney’s Office and the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office asked a judge to prevent members of two gangs, known as Muddy and the Ville, from gathering at the event.
We never had Somali gangs before Joe Biden and Gov. Walz. They didn’t have a footprint in the USA. We didn’t have Tren de Aragua or Haitian gangs before the Democrats opened the borders. Tren de Aragua had no footprint here.
Democrats brought the Karen and Hmong in as well, with their rapid resettlement programs. No one stopped them.
