Two more jurors spoke to reporters about their experience on the Clancy trial.
A female juror who deliberated in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial revealed that she initially believed the Massachusetts mother was guilty and criminally responsible for killing her three young children, but ultimately changed her position, saying she concluded that acquitting Clancy was the way to ensure she received the “help” she needed.
The juror spoke anonymously to WBZ-TV reporter Kristina Rex following the trial.
Jurors aren’t charged with getting a child killer the help she needed.
To get her help, she was willing to free her.
A fifth Lindsay Clancy juror has gone public, and the circus continues.
Nick Dargie said 11 jurors were prepared to set Clancy free, while blasting the lone holdout for reenacting the children’s strangulation with an exercise band and water bottle.
The juror picked up the exercise band used by Clancy to strangle her children, tied it around a water bottle, and pulled it. Dargie said he wasn’t sure why he did it! Yikes.
He also claimed the holdout couldn’t cite evidence supporting his position and scrolled on his phone during deliberations. Dargie apparently didn’t see the evidence, and there was so much of it.
Dargie said he was “devastated” that they couldn’t acquit a woman who admitted killing her three children and predicted nine out of 10 future juries would find her not guilty by reason of insanity.
We already reported on these three bullies.
NBC 10 Boston released extended interviews with the three female jurors. This was an actual question from their reporter:
“What was the thing that Kevin Reddington said that you found the funniest?”
*All giggle hysterically*
“He was fun to watch.”
The prosecution didn’t… https://t.co/ACzHXpNJI8 pic.twitter.com/9f6rsmHAdy
