The fraud continues in California and Minneapolis. Much of it is by foreigners, but the media either ignores it or makes little of it. Christopher Rufo wrote on X that a respiratory therapist named Curtis Kurkova billed California Medicaid $40 million, then spent millions on sports cars, private jets, luxury resorts, and an enormous mansion next to the Kardashian house.
The experts told us it had all the red flags for fraud.
No one is minding the Medicaid store in California, or they turn a blind eye for some reason. Kurkova and his husband flaunted it. They didn’t even seem to have a company. The website doesn’t work, their social media accounts are empty, no one answers their phone, and they aren’t at their listed addresses.
The media doesn’t care either.
California is a gold mine for Medicaid fraud.

The Feeding Our Future Fraudsters
Then there are the convicted fraudsters that no one cares to mention except for Fox News, Newsmax, alternative media, et cetera. They were supposed to feed children, which makes it an even more despicable crime than the usual theft. Some were allegedly friends of Ilhan Omar’s.
A judge in Minnesota sentenced Ghedi and Ahmed to prison on Wednesday for running a massive pandemic fraud campaign.
Abdihakim Ali Ahmed, 40, of Apple Valley, Minnesota, was sentenced to 54 months in prison for one count of wire fraud and one count of money laundering. Ahmed was sentenced before U.S. District Judge Nancy E. Brasel on August 26, 2026. He pleaded guilty on March 24, 2025.
Ahmed Ghedi was sentenced to over five years in prison, and Abdihakim Ahmed was sentenced to four and a half years. Prosecutors say the pair helped run the fraudulent child nutrition site Feeding Our Future, which claimed to be giving food to thousands of children each day in the Twin Cities area.
The pair must pay about $5 million in restitution for stealing $7 million.
Omar-Hashim was already sentenced.
Ahmed Sharif Omar-Hashim, aka “Salah Donyale,” 43, of Minneapolis, was sentenced to 36 months in prison. They were sentenced for one count of wire fraud. Omar-Hashim was sentenced before U.S. District Judge Nancy E. Brasel on August 27, 2026. He pleaded guilty on December 13, 2023.
They are the 24th, 25th, and 26th defendants sentenced in the Feeding Our Future.
I hope they are deported after they finish their sentences.
