Amy Klobuchar is going to open up Minnesota for refugees to start up more learning [learing] centers.

U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) has consistently advocated for policies that support the Somali community in the United States and opposed efforts to restrict their legal entry and residency. Minnesota is home to the largest Somali population in the country.

Klobuchar has repeatedly urged federal administrations to extend and redesignate TPS for Somalia.

She has publicly supported legislation to provide legal protections and a pathway to citizenship for Somali immigrants.

In response to federal crackdowns and anti-immigrant rhetoric, Klobuchar has visited Somali-owned establishments, such as Minneapolis’ Karmel Mall, to show solidarity with Somali-Americans. She has publicly praised their contributions as police officers, caregivers, and entrepreneurs. Caregiving is one of the areas where they have stolen the most funds.

Klobuchar believes or says she believes that migrants strengthen the cultural and economic vitality of Minnesota regardless of the culture they come from.

During her time as a senator, Klobuchar has tried to ensure that the Somali community in Minnesota can send money to Somalia. In 2012, Keith Ellison reported that Klobuchar was part of a meeting with a U.S. Treasury official to ensure Somali remittances kept flowing.

In 2014, Klobuchar supported legislation designed to streamline remittances and free up federal regulators to look for terrorist activity within the money transferring industry. That legislation was eventually signed into law by President Barack Obama.

Klobuchar also lobbied the Obama Administration to establish a “sustainable, long-term” way to transfer remittances via “secure and transparent channels.”

In a 2015 public statement to that end, Klobuchar said: “Somali-Americans in Minnesota are a vital financial lifeline for their relatives in Somalia, and we need to ensure a secure, legal, and transparent way for them to send remittances.”

How is this the right thing to do? We don’t want more Somali pirates, and we don’t want the criminals we have now. We can never deport them once they are here, no matter what crimes they commit. This is the neo-communist Democrat party.

Untaxed US dollars support Somalia.

Remittances represent roughly 16.5% to over 25% of Somalia’s GDP, but the funds come from the global Somali diaspora in Europe, the Middle East, and North America—not exclusively from the United States, but mostly. The diaspora sends roughly $1.3 to $1.7 billion annually. Somali migrant workers alone, excluding the U.S. fraudsters, send about $1.3 billion to Somalis, whose GDP is about $12 billion. The fraud sent home is much greater.

Most Somalis are in the U.S. legally under endless TPS.

America is no longer for Americans if you are a Democrat.
