Red Diaper Baby Bernie Sanders dreams of imprisoning computer techs for twenty years if they violate his AI rules. His rules would most definitely kill off AI. Earlier this month, he officially introduced the “Ban Artificial Superintelligence Act,” which would permanently ban superintelligent AI and impose prison sentences of up to 20 years for violations.
But…but… millions will die, says Bernie.
He wants to ban all AI that is superior to human intelligence. China will do no such thing.

Glen Beck has a reasonable approach.
“Bernie Sanders and Steve Bannon are sharing a stage in DC today to warn about the dangers of losing control of AI. I signed the Pro-Human AI Declaration right along with them. But that doesn’t mean I agree with everything Sanders says, especially his proposal to imprison AI developers for 20 years if they develop systems smarter than a government-set threshold.
“Nothing in that declaration says “don’t build it.” It asks for human control, an off-switch, independent oversight, and zero legal personhood for any machine ever. People ask how I can sign that and still say we have to build data centers. Because pausing the buildings doesn’t pause the frontier. It just hands the entire future over to China, where nobody but the Chinese Communist Party leads the charge.
“We have to build to beat China. But we also need data centers that sit under American law with an off-switch, a sheriff, and a physical door for a human inspector to walk through. If we don’t win this, once ASI gets here, we’re all screwed.”
Bernie is a communist control freak. He is trying to pass a fascist bill while calling Republicans fascists, as he runs around with a banner promoted by Roy Singham, a communist living in Shanghai, funding riots in the USA.
Progressives don’t like progress.
Maybe we should have Kamala Harris explain it to the AI techs. In the clip, she uses a flower analogy to explain what her brain can’t handle and threatens to psyche out the algorithm because they won’t dumb her down.

Forget AI, Abdul is running for the Senate in Michigan, the birthplace of the American automobile, and he thinks cars are the modern-day cigarette. He wants to find a better way than driving cars.
Maybe we can ship some camels in from his father’s homeland and really go natural. Oh, wait, they emit gas also.
