Democrats want to take the wealth of the rich, beginning with the billionaires. Google AI says that as of mid-2026, the collective wealth of U.S. billionaires stands at $9.24 trillion. We are spending $2 trillion more than we take in every year. Even if we stole all the wealth of all the billionaires, it would balance the budget for just over 4 years.
Stealing billionaires’ wealth is not a solution, especially since they will leave the country and take their money with them. They won’t sit still and let people take their wealth. The revenue would never come in.
The government has one choice: to grow its way out of this. The tariffs are supposed to help but they seem to strangle business more than the regulations. But, I’m not an economist. The Supreme Court hurt us by saying we had to pay back billions of dollars in tariffs.
Scott Bessent said we can grow our way out of it.
Some numbers:
$40,000,000,000,000 in debt.
$400,000,000,000 additional monthly debt
$4,000,000,000 borrowed to buy back our own debt
That’s .01% of the total debt
Or about 8 hours of the growth of the debtBTW $1,000,000,000,000 of the total debt was added since March. https://t.co/6Uj7ipzm1Y

They need to cut, but what? The welfare state? The welfare recipients will go wild and will be backed up by the left. The military? We need to fund it more than we are now.
Democrats and Republicans alike love to spend, and they won’t stop. So, we’re back to growing our way out of it. It better happen soon.
BREAKING: Total US debt officially hits $40 trillion for the first time in history.
That’s $119,699 in US debt for every American.
This puts the total US debt balance up +$17 trillion since 2020 and +$30 trillion since 2008.
We are on an unsustainable fiscal path. https://t.co/SLNs0MfTgD pic.twitter.com/kNIZDIZVeq
