For some reason, not allowing men in women’s sports is controversial, but it is happening. According to The Hill, the Education Department announced Monday that it has formally rescinded the Biden-era Title IX interpretation. It gave sex-based discrimination protections to students on the basis of sexual orientation and gender identity.
Schools must now return to the Title IX code as held under the previous Trump administration in 2020. The department says it will protect women’s sports.
“Thanks to today’s action, the published Title IX regulations faithfully reflect court orders and Congressional intent — reducing confusion for parents, students, and educational institutions. We will continue to relentlessly champion equal opportunity for all Americans and hold accountable any school or college that violates the rights, privacy, or athletic opportunities of our women and girls,” Education Secretary Linda McMahon said.
Watch Out for So-Called Moderate Andy Beshear
Andy Beshear, allegedly a moderate, is considered a top prospect for becoming the Democratic Party’s candidate for president in 2028.
As a red-state governor, he’s managed to pretend he’s moderate. His father was popular, and he’s a pleasant, attractive man.
However, he is telling Democrats to stick to their guns on gender ideology.
Erin in the Morning noted that some Democrats pulled back from the trans issues, but not Andy Beshear.
“But one red-state Democrat has been known for his relatively stalwart opposition to anti-trans laws. Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear famously vetoed a sports ban in 2022 in a state Trump would go on to carry by 30 points. He fiercely defended his veto then. Currently, in a CNN interview, Beshear calls it hate, saying, “We don’t throw anybody under the bus.”

A Daily Caller report found it is not just genes. People, especially the young, can be influenced to become gay.
New data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that fewer high school-aged Americans are identifying as lesbian, gay, or bisexual (LGB).
“The decline is largely driven by young women.
“According to the CDC’s Youth Risk Survey of U.S. 9th to 12th graders in 2025, there is a relative decline in LGB identification across each grade compared to two years earlier. This is according to a breakdown of the findings by San Diego State University psychology professor Jean Twenge.
“Seniors, aged 17 to 18, had the highest rate of LGB identification among the four grades measured, with 16 percent identifying as LGB. However, that was still two percentage points below the rate among seniors surveyed in 2023.
“Each grade had a lower rate of LGB identification in 2025 than in 2023, with younger grades showing a decline.
“While the CDC found that 17 percent of 9th graders identified as LGB in 2023, only 11 percent did in 2025. “That really does look like a free fall,” Twenge Twenge added that “The decline appears to be driven almost entirely by girls.” (Daily Caller.)
