Palestine Action vandalized the Trump Turnberry Golf Course. The group is alleged to have a terrorist connection, and the US has since declared it a terrorist organization. The BBC reported that the allegation was lodged with the High Court of Justiciary in Glasgow. The incident took place at the Ayrshire resort during a protest on 8 March 2025.
It states that the offense was aggravated under Section 31 of the Counter-Terrorism Act 2008. The Act was amended in 2021 to include a “terrorist connection,” the BBC reports.
Kieran Robson, 35, Uzma Bashir, 56, Ricky Southall, 34, Autumn Taylor Ward, 22, Rebecca Sian Davies, 29, John Moxley, 58, and Dylan Chiaramello, 24 were charged. They caused over $1 million in damages.

The radicals spray-painted the entire building, the entranceway, and the grass in red or white paint. They painted slogans such as “Free Gaza”, “Free Palestine,” and “Gaza is not for sale.” They spread weed killer over the landscape. The group also dug up turf, flooded the grounds, and damaged the sprinkler system and the light.
They are terrorizing people and put a major golf course out of commission.

Prison Terms of Over Two Decades
Three months after the Turnberry episode, the group said two of its members had vandalized planes at a British military base to protest what it described as Britain’s military support for Israel. The group posted footage of the episode online.
According to the New York Times, days later, Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government announced it would ban Palestine Action as a terrorist organization, a move that prompted fierce debate over free speech and the right to protest.
According to the Times, in one case, four Palestine Action activists convicted of vandalizing a building owned by Elbit in Filton, England, were sentenced as terrorists. Amnesty International reported that the four Palestine Action activists were sentenced to a total of over 20 years in prison in June 2026, while membership or support for the group carries a maximum penalty of up to 14 years. They have a problem with the terrorist designation in these cases.
In another case, however, a judge rejected prosecutors’ efforts to apply a terrorism connection to Palestine Action protesters accused of breaking windows at a Barclays Bank branch.
