A threatening Antifa mob gathered outside the Warren E. Burger federal courthouse in St. Paul, Minnesota, where 15 of their comrades were attending their first hearing on serious criminal charges.
Antifa is a loosely tied organization of domestic terrorists. They are united by their anti-American goals, communications, and training.
The mob appeared to be working themselves up, and there was fear they would try to break in. ICE agents pepper-sprayed them or used bear spray, if you listen to Nick Sortor. I’d rather see something more potent used on them.
Antifa is claiming they were just protesting, but they were trying to break in.
The mob is calling the criminal anarcho-communists “heroes.” They demand the immediate release of the 15. The radical attorneys defending them are trying to make their violent protests into a free speech issue.
“They shouldn’t be deprived of their basic rights of First Amendment free speech and freedom of assembly because they’ve been charged with bogus crimes,” Immigration Attorney Jordan Kuschner said Tuesday. “There was a huge commitment by people of Minnesota to try to hinder ICE’s efforts to kidnap people in the community. That’s what they were doing, that’s what the Trump regime is retaliating against people for. It shouldn’t be sugar-coated, this is a fascist prosecution. It’s extremely disturbing and unnverving.”
The attorneys are nuts. Deporting people here illegally is not kidnapping.
