We aren’t talking socialism when we talk about the far-left wing of the Democrat party. We are talking about communism, as described in numerous articles on this site. Gov. Spanberger, who is far-left herself, is latching on to the Democrat talking point, which is that the Pinkos are fine because Democrats have a big tent.
Republicans have a big tent also, but they aren’t taking Nazis or other lunatics into the party.
I don’t doubt their “big tent” lie will work with much of the base because they have no place else to go. Additionally, Democrats are moving to the hardcore left, according to polls.
Spanberger is without a core set of beliefs, or is a communist. She will go along with anything to win or stay in power.
In any case, the buzzwords to get them through November are we are a big tent.
