The son of a Somali genocidal dictator, who also served as his senior advisor, is running a home healthcare company out of Columbus, Ohio. So, we not only have Somali pirates, but we also have an advisor to a genocidal maniac. His allies and soldiers also live in Columbus.
This man was known as his father’s enforcer.
He is the son of the late former president who ruled Somalia from 1969 to 1991 before his overthrow sparked the Somali Civil War. Ayanle Siad Barre is known by human rights observers and members of the Somali diaspora for his past ties to the dictatorial government and the country’s controversial National Security Service.
He is not alone. His buddies also live in Columbus. Former regime insiders and former Red Beret soldiers of the terror regime live in Columbus.
His father, an Islamist, perhaps on his advice, pushed Marxist-Leninist “scientific socialism.” That was his excuse to escalate oppression. The government’s manipulation of clan divisions and use of the military (including the Red Berets) against opposition factions led to massive human rights abuses and the eventual collapse of the central state in 1991.
How did he get here? Why is he here, and when can we send him home? Undoubtedly, Democrats will fight for him and his buddies to stay in the country should we have the opportunity to kick him out.
