Billionaires are funding James Talarico to help turn Texas blue. The party that hates billionaires actually loves them. Reid Hoffman is one of the billionaires buying this Texas senatorial election. He has already spent $11.5 million buying Talarico a seat.
According to Federal Election Commission records and reports by The Texas Tribune, far-left billionaire venture capitalist and LinkedIn co-founder Reid Hoffman has given $11.5 million to Lone Star Rising, a super PAC supporting the U.S. Senate campaign of Texas Democrat James Talarico. Lone Star Rising has given over $17.5 million to Talarico so far.
Meanwhile, the dishonest Talarico claims Paxton’s donors are buying the seat.
Talarico said, “Billionaires are pouring an unprecedented amount of money into Texas to try to buy this Senate seat … they are hoping that Texans will care more about these manufactured culture wars than actual wars. They’re hoping Texans will care more about pronouns than prices. But I think Texans see through this distraction.”
Talarico frequently says he is there for working people and will bring down their costs, but never says how he will do it.
Talarico, a heretic and proven liar, could win this election. Did so many foreigners move into Texas that the election is lost?
Currently, Talarico has had $65 million in contributions and has spent $46 million. According to the FEC filings, he gets a lot of funding from out of state, with Silicon Valley, California being the most generous.
Talarico is very far-left but is walking back comments just to get elected, as his church’s pastor Babs Miller and lead minister Jim Rigby said.
The biggest money behind Democrat James Talarico leads to Silicon Valley and other progressive and union groups. Republican Ken Paxton’s money trail winds through oil fields, horse racing, fitness clubs, and personal-injury law.
Talarico began with four times as much cash as Paxton.
If Talarico gets in, Texas will go progressive. He can do a lot of damage.
