Israeli President Bibi Netanyahu addressed English-speaking people to thank President Trump for his support in their war with Iran. This is a serious escalation. However, Iran has been attacking Israel through the Houthis, Hezbollah and Hamas for years.
OANN anchor Matt Gaetz is not supportive of involvement in a regime toppling war. He began the episode with an excerpt from Bibi’s statement.
“Today, Israel has shown that we have learned the lessons of history. When enemies vow to destroy you, believe them,” Bibi said, “when enemies build weapons of mass death, stop them. I want to thank President Trump for his leadership in confronting Iran’s nuclear weapons program. He has made clear time and again that Iran cannot have a nuclear enrichment program. Long live Israel and Long live America.”
Gaetz said, “That was Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu lecturing us about needing to learn the lessons of history, while at the same time inviting the United States into a regime change Middle East war.
“He was announcing the operation Rising Lion, which certainly targeted nuclear sites and top military leaders across Iran. Early reports from Iran state media say those strikes killed the head of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, its top Air Force, Commander, its military chief, several of Iran’s top nuclear scientists have also believed to have been killed,” Gaetz said.
“Israeli air strikes have reportedly destroyed radars and surface to air missiles in Iran, and Mossad has reportedly been running sabotage operations within Iran to really limit their air defenses and give Israel the opportunity to own the skies.”

Iran said there are radiation leaks from the nuclear site and they are battling to contain it.
This latest assault by Iran was early Saturday morning in Central Israel. It left at least three dead. Iranians have adjusted their drones to evade the Dome. They don’t always work to get through, but they do at times.
Sirens blared and the Iron Dome lit up the sky as Israel intercepted incoming missiles from Iran early Saturday morning.

If I may speak to Mr Gaetz…regime change? Where did that come from? Your own argument for …what? The Iranian regime seeks the death of multiple millions of people, and have said as much many times.
