The World Decolonization Forum is an international forum to discuss decolonization, global justice, and the legacy of colonialism. The event brings together globalist academics, activists, politicians, and civil society representatives from various countries. At the Forum in May, Rr. Esra Albayrak, daughter of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, called for decolonizing the West, saying that the world is too heavily influenced by Western ideas, history, education, media, and technology.
She advocated for giving greater recognition to ideas and values from other civilizations, particularly Islamic and African ones.
