Families of 9/11 victims are demanding that New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani be banned from the 25th anniversary of 9/11 at Ground Zero. They branded him an apologist for Islamic terror. The families involved say his presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered.

“Our objection is based on his public record — his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks,” said Giovanni Galante – whose 29-year-old wife Grace Catherine Galante was among 2,977 innocents killed by al-Qaeda terrorists.

They don’t have the power to ban him. However, they have reasons to make the request.

Mamdani hangs around with an unindicted co-conspirator in The Holy Land Foundation. Zohran has attended at least one mosque with a radical imam. He also never misses an opportunity to make himself or fellow Islamists the real victims of 9/11.

Muslims Are Victims?

In an October 2025 speech addressing Islamophobia, Zohran Mamdani spoke about growing up after the September 11 attacks, mentioning his aunt’s fear of riding the subway and criticizing political opponents for using his Muslim faith to cast suspicion on his campaign.

He stated, “I want to speak to the memory of my aunt who stopped taking the subway after September 11 because she did not feel safe in her hijab”.

Mamdani noted that he and other Muslim New Yorkers lived with an “undercurrent of suspicion” and casual disdain.”

He is the one dividing us, and he does it to gain power.

How Did We Vote for Zohran after 9/11?

Prime Minister Netanyahu Weighed In

Netanyahu on NYC Mayor Mamdani: “He’s trying to turn one group against the other, and he’s forcing hate and fear. I speak to Jewish Americans in New York, and they’re afraid right now; I don’t think it’s accidental that after he made this hate speech against Israel and against me, the next day a Jew is stabbed coming out of a synagogue. I think it’s shameful.

“This thing is very bad for New York. I think it’s very bad for peace; I intend to come and speak the truth, speak for Israel and for the Israeli-American alliance from the podium of the United Nations.”

The Left has successfully made Netanyahu one of the common enemies. Now, why would they do that?

A popular New York radio host, Sid Rosenberg, might have gone off into lawsuit or suspension territory.
