NY Times Runs Iran Propaganda as an Opinion Piece

The New York Times ran an opinion piece by Ali Vaez titled “Trump Has Lost Control of Events in Iran.” It’s almost as if it were written by Iran’s foreign minister, Abbas Araghchi. Vaez was an associate of Iran allies Robert Malley and Ariane Tabatabai. This propaganda piece follows their article, “A North American Treaty Organization without America.” They’re on a roll.

Ali Vaez, another Iran analyst …, puts it eloquently in an email to Javad Zarif, then Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic (dated October 2, 2014):
“As an Iranian, based on my national and patriotic duty, I have not hesitated to help you in any way, from proposing to Your Excellency a public campaign against the notion of [nuclear] breakout to assisting your team in preparing reports on practical needs of Iran.”

Vaez worked for the Crisis Group and was close to Robert Malley, a spy and Joe Biden’s special envoy to Iran.

The media is awful.
