A Fake NATO Ally Cuts a Deal with Iran?

Our fake NATO ally, France, appears to have cut a deal with Iran. Either that, or it’s quite a coincidence that yesterday, France joined Russia and China to veto a UAE-proposed resolution to create a coalition to reopen the Strait of Hormuz. France was the only Western nation to vote “no” to the UN proposal to use force to open the Strait. And the next day, a French cargo ship was allowed through the Strait with more on the way.

Additionally, France had previously joined Spain and Italy to block the use of airspace and U.S. bases for operations against Iran.

Now we see a French-flagged cargo ship sailing through the Strait. So, are they paying the $2 million toll per ship ad infinitum? They gave up without a fight. Freedom to travel is not worth a fight?

The US has guaranteed safe travel for European nations for years. Will that continue?

The following X post captures the moment.
