Don’t Question Maryland Mayor’s Wild Spending, You Racist!

Apparently, it is racist to ask Baltimore’s DEI-promoting Mayor Brandon Scott why he dropped $165,000 in taxpayer dollars on a brand-new, luxury 2025 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It is fully loaded, of course. It is the most expensive executive vehicle in Maryland and is twice as expensive as the governor’s car. He is also accused of a major money laundering operation, and he pushes money toward programs that support non-white people.

If you can’t defend, deflect. People weren’t happy about his playing the race card, and he became the subject of memes over the car.

The Somali Mayor Has What Looks Like Money Laundering Scheme with Tax Dollars

He is good at not answering questions. A local story at WCBM claims he has a money laundering scheme right in plain sight. According to the story, he pours money into an opaque nonprofit, allegedly for the children. Then half the cash goes back to Scott’s office. This story first broke at Fox Baltimore in January, and it is good to see it discussed again. No one is looking into this potential scam.

From a recent article:

In what can only be described as government corruption hiding in plain sight, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott’s latest budget proposal has been exposed as nothing short of a taxpayer-funded scam that would make crime bosses envious.

The shocking scheme works like this: Scott’s administration seizes $16 MILLION from overtaxed Baltimore citizens and dumps it into the Baltimore Children and Youth Fund (BCYF)—a suspiciously opaque “nonprofit” that operates as nothing more than a money-laundering front for City Hall insiders. Then, in a move that reeks of third-world corruption, this same organization kicks back HALF THE CASH directly to Scott’s own office!

When brave journalists dared to question this outrageous cash grab, both Scott and his BCYF cronies went into full cover-up mode, REFUSING TO ANSWER basic questions about why taxpayer dollars are being cycled through this obvious shell game.

The evidence is damning: An astronomical 38% of all BCYF funds get devoured by “administrative expenses”—bureaucrat-speak for fat salaries and cushy offices. At the same time, Baltimore’s streets remain dangerous, and its children are underserved.

Getting Back to the Luxury Car
Here’s a sample of responses to his racism argument for buying the most expensive car of any official in the state, including the governor.

Big on DEI: Don’t Like Whites

He is a big DEI Mayor and calls DEI “Definitely Earned It.” He pushes DEI into every aspect of government. In this clip, he says he is pushing COVID money into non-white art projects. This Somali man is laughing at Marylanders and federal taxpayers.

DEI is a money factory for people who aren’t white.

This is cute, too.
