This week, Thames Valley police arrested the leader of a British association called Raise the Colours. His crime was to hang British flags on lamp posts and public buildings. The leader, Ryan Bridge, was arrested on allegations of harassment. He and his group were hanging national flags in public. His group did so in defiance of the local Oxfordshire County Council’s orders. It sounds like a peaceful protest.
Thames Valley police arrested Bridge on Tuesday “on suspicion of causing racially and religiously aggravated harassment, alarm, or distress.” He runs a campaign flying Union Jacks and St. George’s flags in Oxfordshire.
The Council doesn’t want new immigrants upset by UK Flags. The Council’s behavior is reminiscent of the Obama administration, which basically made the Union Jack a symbol of insurrection.
The Oxfordshire County Council banned flying national flags and called them “tools of hate.” The ban followed the Raise the Colors group, local residents, and law enforcement placing national flags on public infrastructure across the country.
The Liberal [communist/globalist] Democrat-run county council banned Union Flags and St. George’s Crosses from flying, calling it “an act of intimidation and division.”
The Oxfordshire County Council leader, Liz Leffman, said posting these traditional English symbols undermines community cohesion, making public spaces less safe and inclusive, and said those who display the flags could face civil and criminal proceedings.
However, the new Brits can fly Hezbollah, Hamas, IRGC, USSR, and Gay PRIDE flags.
A leaked UK Government strategy for “social cohesion” recently surfaced. It branded English, Scottish, and Union Jack flags “tools of hate.”
Public outrage ignited over a hypocritical governmental policy: councils allow foreign flags to fly but not domestic ones.
The globalists who brought in anti-British immigrants want to destroy national pride and sovereignty.
You’re allowed to wave Hamas flags. Hezbollah flags. Flags of the USSR. IRGC flags. ISIS flags. Gay pride flags. But don’t you dare wave the British flag or a police officer will confiscate it and arrest you for incitement and racism.
