NSA Expected to Produce “Smoking Gun” Evidence of Obama Administration Spying

Chief Washington correspondent for Fox News, James Rosen, has sources who say the NSA will present documents, including possible smoking gun evidence, of Obama administration spying on the Trump transition team and possibly President-elect Trump himself.

“Smoking gun” evidence establishing that that Obama administration spied on the Trump transition team and possibly on then-President-elect Trump is expected to be presented to the House Intelligence Committee this week though it will also take up to a week to analyze and report on it.

It’s possible that Obama’s January order was to provide cover for the surveillance.

Multiple sources presented Chairman Devin Nunes with reports of the communications which he described in vague terms on Wednesday but which he said were of communications between foreign representatives and Americans. The Americans involved in the communications were unmasked for what appears to be no intelligence value. They had nothing to do with Russia.

It appears to be evidence that the Obama administration spied on the Trump team. The information was disseminated far and wide.

The unmasking leaves no plausible purpose except to hurt the incoming Trump administration.

Fox News Washington correspondent James Rosen wrote last evening that the sources say it leaves no doubt the Obama administration in its waning days used the cover of legitimate surveillance on foreign targets to spy on President-elect Trump.

The FBI has not been responsive to the House Intelligence Committee’s request for documents – no surprises there – but the NSA by Friday is expected to produce documents – more intelligence than Nunes has seen – including a smoking gun establishing the spying.

CIA Director Mike Pompeo is also sympathetic to the effort according to Rosen’s sources. Also today, Nunes said the Committee will ask FBI Director Comey NSA Director Admiral Rogers to appear in closed session next week.

This is a big story but the media is not covering it fairly. What we are hearing is Nunes should step down, he didn’t reveal it in the proper way, and Trump lied when he said he was “wiretapped”.

  1. Rep Nunes cancelled the open Intelligence Committee hearing with Clapper, Brennan and Yates that was to take place today, now he wants FBI director James Comey and NSA director Mike Rogers to address the committee in closed session next week, Nunes has not yet briefed the Intel Committee, my guess is he knows there are backstabbers on that committee (Schiff), he wants Comey and Rodgers back in closed session to say, “OK guys is there anything you may have of forgotten or couldn’t say before that you wish to say now?” Using the fear of the unknown to see if he can get one of them to come “clean” before exposing them as either incompetent or rogue. They don’t know what he has, they don’t know what damage it can do and they don’t know if he is bluffing or not. My tinfoil hat tells me Comey is up to his eyeballs in this crap, at the hearing last Monday, Comey wouldn’t answer half the questions, and he looked like he hasn’t slept in weeks!!!!!!!!!

  2. NSA and CIA is out of control, but that’s the way we are going and we are excepting it, instead of doing something about it. Wake up and smell the coffee, if we don’t have outrage today what will tomorrow bring. Stop the Government from spying on everybody.
