Another Republican is calling for amnesty as President Trump struggles to return millions of literal invaders back to their home country. This would be the tenth time we awarded amnesty. How is it working so far? Foreigners know they can come here illegally, jump the line, and eventually get amnesty and benefits.
What’s that expression about doing the same thing over and over proving insanity?
Rep. Lawlor, a notorious RINO (it’s New York), wants to lay out certain conditions. However, we have done that before, and Democrats never abide by it. Certainly, they would never close the border. They want that one-party rule so the entire nation can be California, New York, and Virginia.
In fairness, Rep. Lawlor’s restrictions sound great, but they will never happen that way. It won’t be “humanitarian” enough. People who come illegally must never be on a path to citizenship. It incentivizes illegal immigration and more Democrat-Communists.
The Dignity Act would grant legal status to a segment of the illegal population that meets certain criteria such as:
– Not having committed a crime in the United States as well as in their country of origin.
– They cannot collect government benefits. Period.
