Hidden Study of Puberty Blockers Found They Improve Nothing

According to a study that went unpublished, puberty blockers, which have life-long repercussions, do not improve the emotional health of children. It took two years to find this out after the drugs were used on countless children.

Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy, the leading proponent of such care in the US, had been givenĀ $10 million in federal research funds to replicate the Dutch study which is the bases of gender-affirming care.

It didn’t quite work out the way she hoped. The study existed for two years but politics kept it from being published.

Olson-Kennedy began the study in 2015. She contradicted herself and said the results weren’t as expected because the children who were studied were in good shape when they came in. However, she originally said they were depressed or suicidal. Why else would they have been chosen?

From the NY Times:

In the nine years since the study was funded by the National Institutes of Health, and as medical care for this small group of adolescents became a searing issue in American politics, Dr. Olson-Kennedy’s team has not published the data. Asked why, she said the findings might fuel the kind of political attacks that have led to bans of the youth gender treatments in more than 20 states, one of which will soon be considered by the Supreme Court.

ā€œI do not want our work to be weaponized,ā€ she said. ā€œIt has to be exactly on point, clear and concise. And that takes time.ā€

Guess they’re going to need to find another way to destroy children if they missed getting them in the womb.
