The US had sanctioned oil from Venezuela under then-President Nicolas Maduro over his role in drug trafficking. The people of Venezuela don’t have much of an economy left after two communist regimes. However, they do have oil, and a lot of it.
President Trump has made a deal to sell sanctioned Venezuelan oil to use the money for the good of the people.
Secretary Chris Wright will handle the agreement.
I wonder how many in CONgress are (or were) on Maduro’s payroll? Where are Democrats going to come up with all their pocket money now that the drug cartels, child trafficking, USAID/NGO ripoffs, Ukrainian kickbacks and all their other scams are drying up? We’d better ask Jeffries, AOC and Omar.
