CNN Lies About the Stats on Media Trump Bashing

Daily Caller News Foundation caught CNN lying by omission to make Fox News look bad or bring them in line with their views. It’s hard to say which, maybe both. On Sunday, John Berman discussed a recent Harvard study that covered President Trump’s first 100 days in office. They presented the media coverage of Donald Trump by Fox News as overwhelmingly positive to make Fox News look bad. The truth is the media hates Trump and Fox just isn’t as negative as the rest.

If there is one thing you can’t accuse Fox News of being is overwhelmingly positive when they report on Donald Trump unless you’re talking about Hannity. They are just fairer in their coverage.

Berman claimed that a “new study from the Harvard Shorenstein Center on Media Politics that analyzed news coverage of the President’s first 100 days found that the coverage ‘set a new standard for unfavorable coverage of a President, with Fox News being the only outlet where the majority of the coverage was positive.”

They then showed a graphic showing only Fox News’s views of Trump’s suitability for office. That is where Fox was far more positive in coverage than the rest of the network’s, according to that one study. That’s what you are seeing in this graphic. It only covers Trump’s suitability in terms of “tone”.

CNN presented it as an overall stat.

Overall, Fox News had a 52% negative tone and 48% positive.

That’s a fairly big discrepancy from what CNN reported, one might say CNN lied.

Most of the mainstream media, especially CNN, is absurdly negative. Fox looks more fair and balanced but CNN didn’t say that. The truth is Trump is getting trashed every day by all of the networks to one degree or another. The Sentinel isn’t making any judgment on whether it’s justified, just that it’s happening.

The tone overall by topic in the mainstream media is hysterical and doesn’t line up with the way voters cast ballots which makes one wonder. For example, didn’t the voters want to stop illegal immigration? Yet, we must believe the media when they present their views of his immigration policies as 87% to 96% negative?

Fox News coverage isn’t exactly glowing, at least not on the key issues. Perhaps CNN should have checked this graphic out.

CNN’s “Reliable Sources” is a 24/7 hit piece on Trump.

But they are on top of Trump’s egregious ice cream and salad dressing activities.
