Lindsey Graham is not buying the latest Russia conspiracy story that portrays Jared Kushner as a Russian stooge.
“You’ve got the ambassador to Russia reporting back to Moscow on an open channel, ‘Hey, Jared Kushner is going to move into the embassy.’ I don’t trust this story as far as I can throw it,” Graham told CNN “State of the Union” guest host Dana Bash.
“It makes no sense that the Russian ambassador would report back to Moscow on a channel that he most likely knows we’re monitoring. The whole story line is suspicious,” added Graham.
The story claims Jared Kushner wanted to use back door channels to talk about Syria and other policy matters with Russia. It comes via anonymous sources who don’t know who suggested the channel, which, they admit, was never opened.
Graham is certainly no Trump supporter.
Barack Obama used a back channel to communicate with the Mullahs and Ayatollah who want to kill us and that was okay. He gave them a lot of cash for terrorism through back channels and that was okay too!
Presidential historian Doug Weed gives examples of presidents using back channels starting with Teddy Roosevelt using his daughter.
The hysterical Democrats are after Rep. Dana Rohrabacher now. They are trying to say the Russians were trying to fund him. It’s McCarthyism.
