Megyn Kelly Flops, Sunday Show Canceled, All Eyes on Her Upcoming Daytime Show

According to Page Six of the New York Post, former Fox News star, Megyn Kelly will be hosting a morning show called “Megyn Kelly Today.”

The “leak” from NBC comes on the heels of the announcement that Megyn Kelly’s Sunday night show will end its initial run after just eight episodes. The show was expected to run a total of ten episodes. They are taking it off the air.

Ratings for her Sunday magazine show were abysmal, with her last show hitting just 2.7 million viewers. That is a disaster for network TV.  Reruns of 60 Minutes, Dateline, and Nick at Nite cartoons were beating her in the ratings.

Why watch Megyn when you can watch Yogi Bear on Nick at Nite.

Rumors are circulating that Matt Lauer could soon be fired from the Today show, with a new report claiming that Megyn Kelly is set to take over his job. NBC is nuts if they do that.

Kelly was starting to sink at Fox before she left. Night after night, she ignored her audience’s preference for Donald Trump and bashed him for at least for a segment.

At one point, Newt Gingrich made mince meat out of her on TV over a disagreement about polls.

Kelly then went after Roger Ailes, saying he sexually harassed her.  She also expressed her constant desire to leave Fox News by interviewing with major networks while insulting Fox News and her colleagues.

NBC News has named her day show after her and some say it might find that won’t help its appeal.
