On June 30, Defense Secretary Jim Mattis postponed the opening of military enlistments to transgender people for an additional six months. Transgenders currently in the military are not affected by the postponement.
Transgender surgeries are now paid for by the taxpayers. In the past, those suffering from gender dysphoria were discharged.
Democrats can’t steal enough of our money for whatever reason they can conjure up.
James Hasson, writing for the Federalist, obtained the “Tier Three Transgender Training” materials—a PowerPoint and accompanying lesson plan. Mr. Hasson is a former Army captain and veteran of the war in Afghanistan.
The training clearly uses the military as a social engineering experiment instead of a fighting force geared towards national security. If a person wanted to destroy the U.S. military, this would be a good start.
Genders can be somewhat fluid and naked men can show up in women’s showers
Military men are allowed to change their gender without any physical changes. A military doctor or civilian medical professional must certify that the transgender person has achieved “stability in the preferred gender” and the soldier must change the gender designation on the soldier’s passport or birth certificate.
Once this paperwork is complete, they may use the showers and bathrooms of their selected gender. As a result, women must accept naked men in their showers.
The training discusses allowing a male soldier to shower with females because he has changed his gender in the military database. “Because she did not undergo a surgical change, the Soldier still has male genitalia,” the Army training states.

All soldiers are to use the “billeting, bathroom, and shower facilities associated with their gender marker” in the DEERS database.
With all the concern about women being sexually harassed or abused in the military, this does appear to be contraindicated.
Look yourself:
In addition, soldiers are to not gossip about male soldiers who say they are female to make for an “inclusive” environment.
“Social interactions and developing friendships with peers are what contribute to a positive work environment,” the training states. “Maintain an inclusive environment and do not gossip. In accordance with good order and discipline, do not ask a colleague or subordinate for their personal information unless it is mission related.”
“This includes information about a Soldier’s gender identity, sexuality, medical challenges, and/or gender transition,” the guidance states.
Real-Life scenarios
The military encourages service members to engage in “real life experience” activities during their transition process. What that translates into in the case of a man morphing into a woman, he is encouraged to go slowly by wearing wigs and make-up, and dressing as a woman while off-duty. It’s called “real-life experiences” – RLE.
Scenarios like this are included in the transgender handbook issued by the Department of Defense under the Obama administration last fall.
All kinds of accommodations are recommended as well.
They even include a scenario that discusses the pregnancy of “Lieutenant Marty.”
“Lieutenant Marty changed his gender marker in the Service personnel data system from female to male after completing an approved transition plan. Lieutenant Marty has not had sex reassignment surgery as part of the transition plan and is working with his [military medical provider] MMP on a plan to start a family. Lieutenant Marty approached his commanding officer a few weeks ago and mentioned he was pregnant.”
It’s confusing
“Be aware that colleagues may find this situation confusing,” the handbook states.
The Army gives definitions for gender identity, “preferred gender,” and the “Transgender Soldier.”
Since the six-month delay by Secretary Mattis does not include transgender people already serving in the military, chiefs must decide by Dec. 1 to conduct a review to determine whether new transgender enlistments will be taken.
All of this can’t be good for morale and it will be done for an extremely small number of soldiers.
The Army is continuing the training at this time, according to the Hassan at the Federalist.
