A machete-wielding Somali man was gunned down after attacking a group of soldiers while shouting “Allahu Akbar” in Brussels – near a street where ISIS called for vehicle attacks just days ago.
The incident happened just meters from a street where ISIS jihadis recently called for vehicle attacks and police arrested a suspected bomber in a shopping mall.
Belgian prosecutors said: “We believe that it is a terrorist attack.”
They are not sure of course.
A spokeswoman for the Belgian prosecution service said: “With the identity that we currently have it is a 30-year-old man who is not known for terrorist activities.”
Brussels mayor Philip Close said ”Initial indications are … that it is an isolated attack, a single person.”
Of course, just one loon and they found that out immediately apparently.
The man, still unnamed, is a friendly, sociable man living in welfare housing according to neighbors. Neighbours describe the 30-year-old as addicted to sports, a man he didn’t trouble anybody.

He carried Koranic books with him when he carried out the attack but it is not known why he did what he did.
Who knows why he did it. One can only imagine.

A suspected terrorist was also shot and killed at Brussels’s central train station in June after a small explosion, which Belgian authorities said was a failed bombing.
Belgium has been on high alert since suicide bombers killed 32 people in attacks on March 22, 2016 on the Brussels main airport and subway system.
