On Sunday Speaker Paul Ryan explained why the cut would not hurt Americans. He is cutting the current “micro-management of Medicaid” by the government because it’s “failing”.
“The Medicaid system isn’t working,” he explained. “Doctors aren’t taking Medicaid, hospitals can’t survive with Medicaid alone. So by giving the states the ability to customize their Medicaid population their program to work for them.”
Midler could care less about any differing opinions. She is calling the Freedom Caucus “homegrown Assads” who are “gassing their own people”.
