Biden Suggests He’s Pleased with the High Price of Gasoline

President Biden faced backlash on Monday after he suggested that high gas prices will be a “good” opportunity to make a fundamental turn” to clean energy.

He claimed his mother had an expression to meet the situation.

“My mother had an expression: out of everything lousy, something good will happen. We have a chance to make a fundamental turn toward renewable energy, electric vehicles, and across the board”.

In other words, he doesn’t care about the high prices or you or your suffering. The destruction of oil and gas will go on. The high prices are a good thing. You are collateral damage.

Watch:

Some conservatives called the president out on Twitter for the comments, as gas prices average $4.98 a gallon nationwide, according to AAA and inflation rose to a 40-year-high last month. Americans fear recession and we suggest we are already in one.

Some conservatives think he’s tone deaf, according to Fox News.

The energy situation he or his team created is a complete disaster. They have nothing to replace oil and gas. Yet, Biden is happy about the high prices of gasoline. It is what Democrats have repeatedly said they want.

Biden doesn’t care about you.

CHEVRON

Energy giant Chevron told President Biden Tuesday his administration should offer “clarity and consistency” on energy policies and record gas-pump prices.

Chevron Chair and CEO Mike Wirth wants an “honest dialogue” about the importance of domestic oil production instead of trying to “vilify” the companies who produce it.

He was responding to Biden’s attack last week that corporate greed is in part to blame for sky-high prices at the pump. Not only that, Wirth was responding to a threat from the president to invoke emergency wartime powers to force more gasoline production, as The Washington Times noted.

That’s Maduro-style governance.

Chevron’s Written Response

American oil and gas supplies are among the most efficient, responsibly produced, and lowest carbon intensity supplies in the world. At roughly 15 kg of CO2-equivalent per barrel, Chevron’s Permian Basin carbon intensity is some two-thirds lower than the global industry average.

U.S. Gulf of Mexico production has carbon intensity of just a fraction of the global industry average.

Increasing American production will offset barrels produced in other parts of the world that may not support America’s energy security, economic competitiveness, or environmental goals.

I want to be clear that Chevron shares your concerns over the higher prices that Americans are experiencing.

And I assure you that Chevron is doing its part to help address these challenges by increasing capital expenditures to $18 billion in 2022, more than 50% higher than last year.

Chevron and its 37,000 employees work every day to help provide the world with the energy it demands and to lift up the lives of billions of people who rely on these supplies. Notwithstanding these efforts, your Administration has largely sought to criticize, and at times vilify, our industry.

These actions are not beneficial to meeting the challenges we face and are not what the American people deserve, Chevron stated.

It is so easy to make oil and gas into villains but the problem is Bidenomics. Biden hates you and doesn’t give a hoot about you. He only cares about following through on his hard left ideology.

So senile little girl fondling Joe is going to suspend the $.18 gas tax. Say you have a 20 gallon tank and gas is $5.18 a gallon. A fill up will cost you $103.60. Now remove the $.18 tax and the fill up costs you $100.00. Wow! Senile Joe saved you a whopping $3.60. And that is going to make a big difference in you monthly
commute gas bill? C’mon man. This is just another scam to try to get
votes before the November elections.

He has always been a liar. He sat on his behind in the senate and never had to make a major decision on his own. All of sudden the pretender is able to make decisions for this nation, I don’t think so..

This is why Democrats can’t Govern. They get crackpot ideas then want results overnight. When things don’t go their way, they throw a temper tantrum.

What The Greenies want to accomplish requires at least a 25 year if not a 50 year plan. The future of long term Green energy is in Nuclear, not Solar Panels and Windmills. In any case, we need a new decentralized electric grid to get us there. That will take at least 25 years. We need to build at least 10 Nuclear Plants per year. We need to invest in Fusion Research so that in 50 years we replace Fission Reactors with Fusion Reactors.

The Geenies can have their clean energy dream, but not by destroying the American Economy. The Greenies need to come back to reality and formulate a workable long term 100 year plan for a smooth transition to a minimal Fossil Fuel World. Anytime you pursue absolutism on a grand scale you get yourself in trouble!

At the moment, Solar Panels have their place, but mostly in Rural America. Electric City Cars (EVs) have their place in Cities. One size fits none is never good policy. I live in a Rural Area. In my case, I am looking at Solar Panels since I have the space for them. If a City Car like the Wuling Hongguang Mini EV becomes available in the US at under $7500, I’ll buy one. I’m not giving up my Petrol powered pickup truck. It will be a while before I consider replacing my lawn tractor with an electric one.

Conservatives aren’t anti-green. It’s just that Conservatives can do the Math and know the conversion will take a generation or two. Conservatives just can’t understand why Liberals have to make everything so painful. Why can’t Liberals just enjoy life? Why do Liberals go though life looking to pick fights?
