Democrats are the ones who always loved Russia. In fact, Obama dismissed Romney’s contention that Russia was our number one geopolitical foe. Also, it was Hillary who gave them that reset button, a U.S. uranium mine, and U.S. intel that could be used by their military.
The left in this country has since discovered Russians are dangerous. They’ve noticed that Russia sows discontent in the U.S. and has been for years. Russians do it, in part, through the leftist armies in the U.S. who are so loved by Democrats.
One might recall that a Russia Today anchor quit because Russia was pushing the communist Occupy movement here in the U.S.
Republicans are now looking into the Democrat collusion with Russia in our energy industry. Naturally, Russia doesn’t want our energy industry doing well and they definitely don’t want us selling to the EU.
The Washington Times reported:
Two key House Republicans have called on the Trump administration to investigate whether Russia is trying to undermine the U.S. energy industry by funding environmental activism as part of a “propaganda war against fossil fuels.”
Russia’s goal is to “suppress the widespread adoption of fracking in Europe and the U.S.,” according to a letter to Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin from House Science, Space and Technology Committee chairman Lamar Smith and energy subcommittee chairman Randy Weber.
The author wrote:
“If you connect the dots, it is clear that Russia is funding U.S. environmental groups in an effort to suppress our domestic oil and gas industry, specifically hydraulic fracking,” said Mr. Smith, Texas Republican, in a Friday statement.

The Democrats have always been in bed with the hard-left though it has gotten much worse since Obama. Tying the hard-left Russians to Trump is ridiculous. However, it isn’t ridiculous if the left’s objective is to desperately change the conversation. They have the shiny object before us while the hard-left does Democrats’ bidding off on the side, i.e., to give them one-party rule for the foreseeable future.
Democrats say one thing when the opposite is true. The Fair Act is unfair, pro-Choice kills, Net Neutrality is not neutral, the Affordable Care Act isn’t affordable, and so on. It’s not Trump who is in bed with the hard-left, it’s the Democrats.
