Antifa Guy Charged After Throwing Dog Out the Window, Mom Says He’s the Victim

A man accused of having a ‘bashthefash’ hashtag on his Facebook page [making him an Antifa] has been charged with two counts of animal cruelty after he pulled a small dog out of a couple’s van during a road rage incident. He threw the animal 30 feet with traffic whizzing by.

The tail-end of the fight was caught on the video below by another driver.

Gary and Linda Kaey said Marc Dionne had been weaving in and out of traffic for a half mile when he got stuck at a bus stop. They said he got out of his car in a rage and started jumping on the hood of their car.

If he is Antifa, he had a lot of practice during riots. It’s what they do.

“He was upset about the stopping bus in front of him, jumped out on our hood, stomped on the hood,” Linda said.

Gary Kaey got out and the two fought.

It looked like the older man had the advantage over the puny coward who then reached into Kaey’s car and grabbed his 12-year old dog Daphna and flung her 30 feet in the air.

“Obviously he couldn’t get the best of me, so he chose to take an innocent animal and try to hurt me with that,” Gary Kaey said.

Daphna survived.

“I reached down and grabbed her, kind of like a football grab and saved her life,” Kaey said.

Mom says her violent son is the victim

Speaking exclusively with CBS2’s Jessica Borg, Dionne’s mother claimed her son is the victim.

“I think the man should be punished for assaulting my son,” she said.

She said her son was being forced off the road by Kaey and that’s why he got angry.

“Unfortunately without thinking, Marc was trying to get the guy away from him, and therefore he reached into the car. He’s not an animal hater, he’s an animal lover,” she said.

That’s not how it looks in the video. Dionne appears to be getting even with the older man who got the better of him.

Marc Dionne, 22, was charged Tuesday with two counts of animal cruelty involving torture and torment of a living creature. One of those charges was filed as a fourth-degree indictable offense in Superior Court.

He was a Lyft driver until his bosses saw the video.

You can hear Mom at the end of this. Her upbringing is undoubtedly the reason her son chose this cowardly tactic. There was quite an uproar which is why the NJSPCA tracked Dionne down.

Alexandra LaManna, a spokeswoman for Lyft, said Monday that the driver wasn’t on a trip for Lyft at the time.

“We are shocked and horrified by what we saw in this video,” she wrote in an email to New Jersey 101.5. “While this did not happen on the Lyft platform, we permanently deactivated the individual after learning of his truly cruel behavior; he will never again be able to use Lyft.”
