The New York City Shakespeare in the Park play ‘Julius Caesar’ depicts a Trump look alike in a business suit being slaughtered brutally by minorities and women while in the Senate. ‘Julius’ even has a Melania clone wife with a slavic accent. This is currently being presented in Central Park.

CNN Trump-hater Fareed Zakaria weighed in and called it “brilliantly interpreted in the Trump era.”

Three sponsors have pulled out — United Air, Delta, and the Bank of America. The NY Times is still praising it.

Delta wrote in a. statement. “No matter what your political stance may be, the graphic staging of Julius Caesar at this summer’s Free Shakespeare in the Park does not reflect Delta Air Lines’ values,” the company’s statement said. “Their artistic and creative direction crossed the line on the standards of good taste.”

Bank of America added it was withdrawing funding for the production.

“The Public Theater chose to present Julius Caesar in such a way that was intended to provoke and offend,” the bank said in a tweet. “Had this intention been made known to us, we would have decided not to sponsor it.”

Time Warner Foundation, the philanthopic arm of the parent company of Zhakaria’s employer, CNN, has not pulled their support. The NY Times has also praised it.

Watch a clip. It’s disgusting. People who saw it said there was blood everywhere and it is very violent.

As it turns out, the National Endowment of the Arts said they did not fund this particular play. They caught a lucky break there.

How is this better than what Kathy Griffin did? This type of violence stirs up the nut jobs out there like this next one.
